A$AP Rocky explains controversial Rita Ora line and freestyles on ‘Sway in the Morning”

A$AP Rocky took a few minutes out of his busy schedule to sit down with ‘Sway in the Morning’ the other day. While in the studio he dropped off a quick freestyle, touching on everything from Dior to 50 Cent. Later in the interview he discusses the Rita Ora line which became a hot topic on Twitter the other day after the release of his ALLA album. Definitely worth a watch, check it out below (second video clip, around the 11:30 mark).

I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth
Next time I see her might curse the bitch out
Kicked the bitch out once cause she bitched out
Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth
And made the bitch bounce

[Summer Vibes] IKON ft. Sicko Mobb- “Make Shit Happen”

Woah, IKON took me back a few years with the beginning of this song. Had me reminiscing on 2007 when Sean Kingston and T-Pain were all I was playing off my iPod Nano. Take a listen to the latest from the Windy City artist. “Make Shit Happen” is a light, upbeat song perfect for a warm day like today.

Here’s all you need to listen to today: “Nobody Hangs Out Anymore” by London O’Connor

“All my friends are on the net and all my friends are in the net. And all of us are out of it and none of us are into it.”

London O’Connor came through today with the vibes. This is the first song I’ve heard by the singer/ rapper (he’s somewhere in between those). His latest song “Nobody Hangs Out Anymore” is an ode to the newest generation of kids growing up through the internet age. You don’t hang out outside anymore, you don’t need to use your imagination for games. You’ve got a little screen in your palm and all your friends are right there. You’re going to want to listen to this. It’s very nice, there’s a lot of potential with this guy. London’s album O∆ comes out June 23rd and you can bet that it’ll be right here on Smooth Waves.

[Watch] The Weeknd delivers an interesting video for “The Hills”

“When I’m fucked up that’s the real me.”

In The Weeknd’s latest visual effort we find the Toronto singer crawling out of a flipped over car, while his female passenger runs after him angrily. Eventually he makes it into his house where he limps up the stairs, bloodied and torn up. Check out the video below, not sure how I feel about this one.
