I know it was only two or three years ago but we all know you have fond memories of going wild to G-Eazy & Carnage’s turn up track  “Loaded.” However, the Bay area artist has come a long way since then.

On Friday, G released his sophomore album When It’s Dark Out. The album is exactly how Gerald described, much darker and more personal. The rapper gets into topics about living on the road, loneliness and even loss. It is crazy to hear G, someone who I’ve come to know rapping about models and bottles, get into a more personal space with his music. Overall it is a great album and will fit perfectly into Eazy’s catalogue. Stream the whole project below and let us know what you think.
