“I got more clout than some boybands. All I see’s a flock of titties.”

Silver is back after the release of “THEM” featuring A Dot and Plain Dave. “Run 112” is another laid back, yet foreboding track with a nice feature from Westside Flee. There’s a lot more on the way from the Chicago emcee and the best is yet to come. Take a listen below and enjoy.

Monte Booker remixes Desiigner’s XXL Freestyle “Timmy Turner”

I’m not a fan of Desiigner, the Sierra Mist to Future’s Sprite, but I am a fan of Monte Booker. A big fan. Booker, a 20 year old Chicago producer, recently signed to Soulection and this serves as his first drop with the group. He takes Desiigner’s XXL Freestyle and turns it into an eclectic, summertime hit that will make anyone want to dance the salsa. Check it out below and be on the lookout for more from Monte.

Smino, Jean Deaux and Sango have a hit, titled “Lemon Pon Goose”

This track is absolutely insane. The first 30 seconds sound like T-Pain and Akon in 2007, then Smino and Jean Deaux smash the fast forward button and take us directly to summer ’16. This NEEDS to be in your rotation. Word to Sango for the crazy production. Hands down the best song I’ve heard in a few months. Check it out on the low.

Skepta, Makonnen and Céon team up on “Coming Soon”

This is… interesting. Not used to hearing Skepta go in over a beat like this or rap like this. Somewhere in between MADEINTYO and Lil Yachty. After the first few listens I’m not super into it but it seems like one of those songs that will grow on me as the summer progresses. We’ll have to see. For now, take a listen to “Coming Soon” below and let us know how you feel about it.

“Sucker for Pain” – Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa & Imagine Dragons w/ Logic & Ty Dolla $ign ft. X Ambassadors

maxresdefault.jpgI was seriously so surprised by this one. With a lineup this long filled with some of hip-hop’s biggest acts mixed together with bands like Imagine Dragons and X Ambassadors, it would have been easy for it to just have become one mess of a song. But no, this record is straight fire and everyone involves absolutely kills it. The Suicide Squad really pulled some strings with the soundtrack because so far it has been amazing. Check “Sucker For Pain” with Lil’ Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, Logic, Imagine Dragons, & X Ambassadors below and catch Suicide Squad in theater August 5th.
