Kendrick on any track is gold, no matter who you like you can’t deny that. Future’s hit “Mask Off” gets the remix treatment from Top Dawg’s top dawg Mr. Lamar and he completely changes the sound of the song. Future’s verse stays the same but Kendrick comes on with a wavering verse that matches up perfectly with DJ Esco’s use of soft woodwinds. The verse sounds like it came directly off of DAMN. Vince Staples continues the oceanic theme, following the conclusion of his Life Aquatic tour with Kilo Kish, the Long Beach rapper announced he will be dropping off an album in June titled Big Fish Theory. Staples has been dropping nothing but heat for a few years and Big Fish Theory doesn’t look like it will be changing that trend.
