ASAP Ferg and Remy Ma drop off an East Coast inspired banger

ct-asap-ferg-interview-pitchfork-festival-20150716.jpeg

Yeeesh. ASAP Ferg doesn’t even stop to take a breath on this track. Both he and Remy Ma drop vicious, military grade bars over bass heavy production featuring some grimy distorted guitar. You don’t want to miss out on this one. It sounds like Ferg is still in album mode, this track could definitely have been on Always Strive and Prosper. Give it a listen below.

Despite just releasing his sophomore album Always Strive & Prosper fairly recently, Ferg is back. The tape will be titled Still Striving and will, according to Ferg’s snapchat, be coming out “very soon.” I’m definitely excited to see what direction this tape goes and hopefully it follows in the footsteps of Trap Lord. Stick with us for  more info involving Ferg and the rest of ASAP mob.

Here’s the best song of 2016 so far: Skepta’s “Ladies Hit Squad”

This song is everything right now. I know it came out a week ago but I was on the train when it dropped and I couldn’t post and then I just never got around to it. 2016 is the year of Grime. With Skepta’s upcoming 4th studio album Konnichiwa on the way and a slew of other UK rappers who could hold their own on American waves better than most Americans, it looks as though we’ll be hearing a lot more of that UK accent this year. That being said, A$AP Nast, D Double E and Skepta absolutely body this track. The song starts with an intoxicating hook from Nast, who’s probably my favorite instagram personality. D Double E then hits the mic running, beginning his verse with his signature “Budubupbup.” Skepta then comes in with one of the most relaxed verses I’ve heard him spit in a while. Dropping raunchy lines like “I’m gonna hit the G-spot when I get the jeans off/ Press on the gas and then I ease off/ Kiss on your neck, there you go, ease off.” And flex worthy lines such as “Saw your girlfriend, you don’t need advice/ Always in your ear like, “He’s not nice”/ She’s just upset cause she got juiced in the bunk bed.” All in all, this songs plays like a faux RnB/ hip hop hit from ’08 with the stylings of a top grime record and a hook that will be stuck in your head for days. Peep the video below.

Check out A$AP Rocky and Pharrell’s track “Hear Me”

caribe-asap-rocky

The whole ASAP Mob has been busy lately. Today, we not only get a previously unheard track from Rocky, but we also get the CDQ versions of “Yamborghini High” and “Wu-Tang Forever.” Previously the only links were radio rips that were censored and sounded like trash, so thank God for the CDQ. Anyway, the previously unheard track is called “Hear Me” and it features none other than Pharrell. Give all three songs a listen below.

[NEW] ASAP Rocky hops on the remix of Drake’s “Wu-Tang Forever”

Terry-Richardson-Shoots-ASAP-Rocky-for-Purple-00

One of my favorite songs from 2013 got remixed with a verse from ASAP Rocky, that’s neat. Earlier today ASAP Lou and J Scott released this “Wu-Tang Forever” remix on OVO Beats 1 radio. The quality is pretty bad and it’s censored (eye roll), thanks Apple. But, ASAP’s verse sounds nice regardless. Give it a listen below and be on the lookout for ASAP’s Cozy Boys mixtape, which should be out soon.
