While we’re still waiting for 3001: A Laced Odyssey, this new track titled “Bounce” is more than enough to tide me over while I wait. The latest cut from the Brooklyn trio is intoxicating, vibe out as they aggressively spit over some very interesting production. You can also check out Flatbush on tour this spring. They’ll be heading out with Remy Banks and A$AP Twelvyy after the release of their album March 11th. Take a listen to “Bounce” below.

Shout out winter storm Jonas. Not only are we getting tons of cool pictures of New York City covered in more powder than usual, we also just got a brand new track from Chet Faker. Although Chet doesn’t sing over this he does sample an audio clip of New York mayor Bill de Blasio giving a PSA regarding the snow. Check out the song below and stay warm.

[EXTRA SAUCE] Richie Quake’s ‘In Love N’ Memory’ EP is niice

In-Loving-Memory-Cover-Art

Saucy, lo-fi, vulnerable and addictive.

Richie Quake is gnarly. His In Love N’ Memory EP is his most recent body of work and compared to his older stuff (which was good) this is the best. 6 tracks of sounds that adventure through different sonic landscapes, ranging from lo-fo to ambient to very sensual. Pigeons and Planes dubbed this as bedroom R&B and I’d have to agree. If your girl appreciates Yung Lean and is into experimenting throw this on for her.

[RIP Sean Price] Mac Miller releases new music with feature from the recently deceased Brooklyn rapper

seanp

Rest in paradise Sean Price.

After gracing our ears with some of the hardest bars coming out of NY, Sean Price passed away late last week. Today, Mac Miller releases this cut featuring the emcee. “Pet Sounds” features a verse from Price who goes in with his brash, timeless delivery. This was recorded sometime last year according to some of the content in the song. Sean Price has an album slated to drop later this month, posthumously. And Mac has an album dropping September 18th titled GO:OD AM.
