After running into some trouble with his last release, Jack Larsen is back with a brand new single titled “Closer.” The song won’t be appearing on any future projects but it’s dope nonetheless and is just enough to tide people over until the release of his album. Vibe out to “Closer” below.
It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything from Jack Larsen. With an EP currently in the works he decided to liberate a track to remind us that he’s still out here. “She Just Wanna” shows the growth and maturity Jack has been making the past few months while taking a break from releasing anything. Very laid back and encapsulating, Jack says what he needs to say on “She Just Wanna” and he does it on his own time. I’m more than excited to hear what his upcoming project has in store and I’m super happy for him with this release :’)
Jack Larsen was recently one of three artist to be featured on Tulpa’s “Shadows”. Larsen can be heard singing the chorus and the outro while Young Lungs, Cian P and Tulpa all add their respective verses. It is a great song so do not hesitate to check it out below. More music from all of these artists is on the way!
This weekend I got the chance to link up with Markus Cook and Jack Larsen. Cook is from Cincinatti and has recently started putting out his own music, both songs premiered through Smooth Waves. Jack has been releasing music for a little while longer. The Chicago native was featured on the song “27” by Kevin Abstract on his debut album MTV1987. The two are currently working on a track together that will be premiered through Smooth Waves some time soon and Markus is working on the music video for his song “Sans1995.” Enjoy the photos below and listen to some of Jack and Markus’ music while you scroll.
One of the projects I was looking forward to the most this year was this. Finally, NOVA delivers. The project is everything I expected. Vibe-y, late night, early morning, city sounds from the up and coming artist. On the whole project there are only two features, one from RMSY, and one from Jack Larsen. I can’t think of two up and coming artists that better fit NOVA’s style. There’s no telling where this project will take NOVA, but this deserves a listen from everyone. Stream the whole project below and check out the songs with RMSY and Jack below that.
