Mick Jenkins- “Drowning” featuring BADBADNOTGOOD (Official Music Video)

Mick Jenkins delivers an excellent music video for his track “Drowning.” Featuring the jazz trio BADBADNOTGOOD, Mick sends a very powerful message with this video regarding racial tension in America. This song is one of the lead singles off of his upcoming album The Healing Company, which is due out September 23rd. Be on the lookout and don’t miss out on the video below.

Lil’ B- “Finess Em”

Alright, I’m really fucking with this beat this morning. Lil’ B came back on his viral grind with a brand new video for “Finess Em.” This track can be found on the Based God’s latest offering, Thugged Out Pissed Off. The visual finds Lil’ B rapping about his pain in some abandoned and run down apartment. The funniest shit to me though is every time B moves the blinds and its just a huge piece of plywood but he keeps looking. TYBG! Check this out below and let me know what you think!

Watch: SHIRT’s “Top of The Whitney” gets the visual treatment, courtesy of a 5 year old girl

SHIRT has always been pushing the envelope, whether it be with fashion, art or hip hop. Recently he released this video for his standout track “Top of The Whitney.” Produced by San Holo (word to spoonerisms), this song goes absolutely crazy. San does a killer job making a beat that seems to be spiraling out of control only to seamlessly transition back into a refined rhythm. SHIRT somehow keeps up with the production and the end product is one of my personal favorites from the NYC emcee. For the video, which can be watched below, SHIRT recruits 5 year old Mae and her sister Leni. SHIRT had this to say about working with Mae. ” I had some ideas but a 5 year old says fuck your ideas.  I had to respect it.”

[fuego] LiveFromTheEast stunts in his video for “Like Me”

Screen Shot 2015-12-22 at 4.34.26 PM

“I make money talk she make pussy flip.”

LiveFromTheEast is new to me but judging by his Soundcloud he’s been around for a little while. On “Like Me” he flexes a little bit and switches his flow up, sounding a bit like ATL rapper Father. After listening through his Soundcloud he has the ability to rap in a wide range of styles. Hopefully in 2016 we’ll get a complete project or mixtape from him. For now check out “Like Me” below and enjoy.
