French Montana recruits Ricky Rozay and Weezy for their respective verses on “Lose It” AND gets Kanye West on production. With a star studded cast like this I don’t think it’s possible for the final product to sound bad, and it doesn’t. We might be watching the rebirth of Weezy’s career with every song he’s featured on. I can’t remember the last time I was impressed with a Wayne feature. But the last three features he’s had “M’s” by A$AP Rocky, “Smuckers” by Tyler The Creator and now “Lose It.” Take a listen to this song below, it’ll be on rotation for awhile.
An arrest has been made in connection with the shooting of Lil Wayne’s tour bus last month in Atlanta. Jimmy Carlton Winfrey was apprehended by police and charged with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, firearm possession by a felon, and criminal gang activity, all in connection to the shooting of Weezy’s bus. Although it isn’t confirmed to be true yet, apparently, Winfrey, also known as PeeWee Roscoe, was Thugger’s road manager. Apparently Lil Wayne has started his own sports management company, and his first client? Pretty boy Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo was looking for a way to take over the US market with his brand CR7. Not sure why he decided to go with Lil Wayne as his business representative, but hey whatever, they both have millions.
Wayne will reportedly handle all of Ronaldo’s sports management affairs in the United States, according to TMZ.
It will be interesting to see how all of this plays out, especially with Jay Z starting his own sports management agency last year. One can’t help but think that Drake may be the next rapper to start his own management company with Johnny Manziel and Andrew Wiggins perhaps? Stick with us for more updates!
